Hey guys. So the No Fools website technically exists now but it's not operational. We'll be moving all of our comics over there soon and we'll be posting new ones.

So I know you guys have been hurting for more comics lately. Trust me, I understand. I have the jones too. Sometimes I get it so bad that I just start scratching myself until a doctor gives me a sedative and binds my hands with leather straps to the bed which FYI could use a change of sheets.

And maybe another pillow.

But some famous person probably once said that the greatest show of character is perserverence. I have no proof that anyone has ever said this but I naturally assume that someone has. It sounds like the kind of thing that someone important would have once said.

It's through your hardship and suffering that the true fruit of life will be yours. After painful months of starvation and hopelessness, a bounty will be bequeathed unto you that is so glorious that to gaze upon it is to understand true happiness. And then after that, the rest of your life will lose all meaning and taste, like a stick of gum that you've been chewing too long. Sometimes you wrap it up and set it aside, hoping that it will regain some of it's flavor. But it won't. That stick of gum will sit in that napkin and haunt you for eternity. That used up wad of rubber will create an emptiness in your life so boundless that not even one out of five dentists would recommend it to you.

But I digress. We're about half way through our school semester and we're busy as beavers. But don't worry. Comics are coming. A payload of them even maybe. Elaine bought me an extra fancy notebook for Valentine's Day so my resolve to write comics for you beautiful people has never been stronger. Also, we may have a proper website in the near future. With an archive, and a forum, and three chocolate elephants!

So lift your head high and waft in the smell of things to come. To the untrained nose it smells like freshly made waffles, but let me assure you, that is the glorious stench of the promise of a new day.

So, in the midst of midterms, essays, mustering up the courage to quit my job, and finally deciding to leave sfoo and pursue what i *actually* want to do in life, I managed to squeeze in a comic for you guys. So, i know comic updates have been few and far between lately...but please! bare with me. Hopefully, once the semester ends, dylan and i will be able to seriously get down to business (perhaps with a brand new, nofools.com website?..perhaps =p )

Sorry for the lack of updatery and whatnot.

We're still wicked busy. Elaine had midterms out the wazoo, and I've been filming, studying as well as preparing a presentation and writing a term paper. So yes, busy busy.

But we'll try to change. We promise!

Seriously, have you guys forgotten we have a contest? And currently only one person has one referral. It would be easy for any one of you to sweep this thing.

You'll get to be IN a comic.

Anyways, our good friend Curtis is getting a more official No Fools website underway. We'll probably have a forum and whatnot. It should be jolly good fun.

No Fools is having it's first ever contest!

Now, I know starting a web comic is shaky business. And the main key is gaining an audience. Considering that the six degrees of seperation probably applies to LJ, I figure we could at least get a decent LJ following.

So here's the proposal.

For every person on your list that you get to friend and read this comic, you gain a point. Whoever has the most points by October 20th will have the privilege of becomming a character in our comic that is guaranteed to be featured in at least one comic and then will most likely become a prop that we bring up from time to time.

Hey everyone!

We have a lot to post today.

1. Here's our new comic!

2. We recently did a guest comic. If any of you are familiar with Olde English sketch comedy (http://www.oldeenglish.org), you'll no doubt know of Raizin. Anyways, he runs his own comic called Tip Me Over, Pour Me Out. His artist has recently gone on vacation so he asked Elaine to draw a comic up for him. We were just excited that he even reads our comic but we were even more excited about this opportuinity.

We have returned from camping.

A few items of news for all of ye.

Item the first: during school, updates shall be once a week. The special day of updatery will take place on an unspecified day which we shall soon come to know as Monday. This is a necessary reworking of schedule as we shall both be working and going to school full time.

Item the second: Henceforth, you shall refer to us as "your majesties" and anyone caught wearing pre-ripped jeans will be punished by means of catapult.

Item the third: Item the second is hereby revoked.

Item the fourth: Some sort of comic (pictured below).
